About Greenland Northern Lights Print

A Northern Light show above a frozen lake in Southern Greenland. A faint light on the right is coming from a setting moon, illuminating the cold and frozen vegetation, which is ready for the long Greenlandic winter. This Greenland Northern Lights panorama was the result of a shooting that lasted for most of the night. It was Max's last shooting on his 3-month adventure in Greenland, before he hiked and paddled back to the nearest fisherman's village. The mountain in the distance just left of the moon is this viewpoint - from where you have a view inside the valley this Greenland Northern Lights photo was taken.
