A summer evening seen from above the beautiful Oeschinensee/ Oeschinen Lake in Switzerland. This mountain lake drains underground, into the valley towards the village of Kandersteg. This lake is considered as one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland. It is surrounded by steep, green mountain slopes filled with wildflowers and waterfalls. You will also see many high mountain peaks around the Oeschinensee. You have the Bluemlisalphorn, the Frundenhorn and the Wildi Frau in the East. In the south there are the Innerer Fisistock and the Doldenhorn and in the North there is the Dundenhorn. The Blüemlisalp Glacier can be found on the Northern side of bluemlisalp. Just like every glacier in the alps and the word, it is retreating rapidly.
