About the artwork
Dark clouds gather around Sarapo, Siula Grande and the other peaks of the Gordillera Huayhuash in Peru. This location in the high Andes of Peru was visited in May during the Winter. The weather started with clear skies in the morning and changed into thunderstorms and rain in the late afternoon - a common weather pattern for this area.
