Experience some of the world's most stunning hikes, capturing awe-inspiring views of majestic fjords and Norway's most iconic mountains. We'll camp at the most picturesque spots imaginable, and you'll have the chance to witness the mesmerizing sight of the setting sun just touching the horizon. SENJA ITINERARY

Day 1

We will pick you up from Evenes Airport around 11 AM. If you're staying at nearby accommodations, we can arrange a convenient pickup—please contact us for lodging recommendations. We will embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to our first destination, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of majestic mountains and fjords.

Upon arrival, we’ll hike to the basecamp at Segla Mountain. Your spacious two-person tent (for single use) will be set up, and then we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch with an incredible view over the fjords. After lunch, you’ll have the freedom to explore on your own or join Max for a guided tour to discover some perfect photo compositions.

Following our exploration and photography session, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner. As the day winds down, we’ll head to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Segla Mountain to capture the sunset. Here, we’ll take plenty of photos to ensure you have lasting memories of the majestic landscape, as the sun dips to touch the horizon and slowly rises again.

Around 4 AM, we’ll return to the tents for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2 & 3

On Day 2, we’ll move to our next basecamp, starting with a breakfast at our current location. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at a local coffee shop and a public restroom for your convenience.

Our second basecamp offers access to two incredible viewpoints. The higher viewpoint is situated on one of the tallest mountains in Senja, offering panoramic views of the entire region—truly breathtaking! This hike is the longest, taking about 2 hours to reach from basecamp. The second viewpoint is more accessible, following a spectacular ridgeline with stunning views on both sides.

Day 4

On Day 4, we’ll visit one of the most breathtaking viewpoints over the fjords in the world! To reach this spot, we’ll drive for about 30 minutes. Along the way, we’ll stop for a restroom break and the chance to grab a coffee.

The hike to our basecamp is easy and will take around 1 hour. Once we’ve set up camp, it’s an additional 40-minute hike to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views and plenty of opportunities for unique photo compositions. After enjoying the midnight sun it is time to get our well deserved rest at basecamp.

Day 5 & 6

On Day 5, we’ll drive to our hotel, a scenic 3-hour journey with incredible views all around. After check-in, we’ll head out to the nearby Stetinden Mountain—rightfully known as Norway’s national mountain! We’ll capture stunning shots of this iconic peak during the midnight sun, followed by a relaxing dinner.

On Day 6, we’ll enjoy breakfast before making our way back to Evenes Airport.

What lenses shall I bring to Senja?

We recommend bringing a wide angle (zoom) and a tele-zoom lens.

Can I bring my drone?

Yes.

How long are the hikes?

We need to hike on each day. A good physical fitness level is required for this tour

What will the weather be like?

Mild temperatures during the whole day. The nights are soft and the sun doesn't set. It can be rainy.

Is there a required experience level?

No, we have photographers from all experience levels participating. Whether you ask how to shoot in manual mode, how to take a panorama or how to master the handheld focus stack technique – the guide will always be happy to help and adopt his teaching to each skill level.

REFUND AND CANCELATION
The deposit of 1500,- euro can be transferred to a different tour. A refund will be given if 1. A replacement has been found and 2. If the tour is fully booked.

Refund Policy regarding the full payment
(which is required 90 days before the tour start):
 • More than 60 days prior to the start date: 70%refund
• 45 days prior to the start date: 35% refund
• 30 days prior to the start date: 15% refund
• Less than 30 days: no refund.

When a replacement has been found a refund will be given. Any discount offered to that replacement will be deducted from the refund amount. The received amount will be refunded - transaction costs and currency differences might lower this amount.

Refunds will be paid by the same method as the original payment was made. Refunds will be initiated within 72 hours after the approved request. Please find our full refund and cancellation policy in our Terms and Conditions here.
