Let's make a positive impact

Since the day I invested in this Photoshop Panorama Tutorial, my post-processing skills in Photoshop have seriously increased! I learned so much from his fantastic Photoshop Panorama Tutorial that my pictures switched to the next level. What amazed me the most is the simplicity of the editing techniques in this Photoshop Panorama Tutorial – which are super easy to understand from start to finish – yet the results speak for themselves.

If someone were to ask me in an interview, “who has influenced your photography the most?,”  Max Rive’s name would have to be on the top of that list.  I am so glad I invested the time & the money in this Photoshop Panorama Tutorial and Max Rive’s editing tutorials. After watching Max’s in-depth editing classes of his Photoshop Panorama Tutorial, my editing workflow now follows a very similar path to Max’s and is now on a whole new level.

Max Rive’s Photoshop Panorama Tutorial greatly helped me with balance of color tones, simplicity in  colors and panorama merging to only name a few. Before watching his Photoshop Panorama Tutorial, I tried myself for years to  apply some of those concepts but always failed until I watched his processing videos. They are well laid out, methodical and explain concepts to perfection which I could not have learned myself!

Max explains in his tutorials, calmly and factually, all the important steps of his image processing. Every step is traceable and easy to follow. He is an absolute expert. No matter how often I watch the videos, I always learn new things. Awesome job Max!

I bought and watched almost all of your processing videos. Even though I'm a experienced professional photographer, I learned a lot. The mastering of colors, separation and balance in your work is absolutly at the highest level. Even if you use your own techniques, the end result is always brilliant ! I have purchased several of Max Rive's tutorials over the years and have learned something new from each one. Max has a unique processing style and he offers lots of insight into how he processes each image. While the technical processing sections of the videos are excellent, what I find most useful is hearing him explain why he makes each artistic and creative decision. These artistic principles can be applied to your own images to help you improve your photography. I highly recommend Max's processing videos.

Max’s processing videos are a hidden gem to those interested in learning about editing landscape photos. They provide a unique and creative method to processing, which will help take your editing and creative skills to another level. As an amateur landscape photographer, I found it very helpful the way the videos go into every detail from processing the raw image to uploading it on Instagram. I discovered Max's tutorials for the first time while joining his Patagonia Tour. Max's tutorials are very applicable to all sorts of landscape photography and are especially recommended for those, who want to achieve more dramatic and epic final product impacts. They are based on examples and motives from real life and they gently guide the artist from basic techniques to more progressive approaches. Nowadays every photo I create still contains his knowledge and post production techniques.

What I enjoyed most about Max’s courses is his editing techniques. He helps you to “sculpt” your photo with light  so that it has a depth, almost a third dimension. You are drawn in and through the experience of that place, and his instructions are clear and concise enough for anyone to follow and implement. If you want your photos to be more alive with the experience you had when you took the photo, these courses are for you. Thanks Max for helping take may post processing to the next level.

Max's processing videos have all been great! I enjoy working through them as Max tend to explain everything in enough detail for me to understand. I have been able to better understand specific tools in photoshop and more importantly how to use them to create the desired effects. I had long been a fan of Max's style of editing as the images felt a lot like paintings and it was nice to see how Max actually treating them as such. Additionally I like the sense of 'drama' that most of them convey. 

I've loved Max's images on Instragram and was delighted to discover that he offered video tutorials to learn how he had achieved those mystical looks. I've purchased several of his classes by now and learned something new in every one of them: they are incredibly detailed, easy to follow, and fun! They haven't just allowed me to bring out the best in my photos, but also taught me about composition and location scouting. Knowing that I can make my images shine, and will find great places, makes photography more fun for me.

Starting out with limited knowledge of photography and editing in particular, Max's tutorials really helped me to break that learning curve and take my images to a whole new level. As someone who wants to convey that adventurous spirit through photography, nobody exemplifies that better than Max and these tutorials can help you get there. Detailed and easy to follow, not only will you learn a wide range of editing techniques, but also how to think creatively about your images to bring out mood, atmosphere, depth and most importantly, emotion.

I've been stunned by Max' photos ever since I saw them for the first time when Hasselblad chose his work as Landscape Photographer of the Year. He walks you through his process, from photography, to grading, to export. I'm now much more conscious of color palette, and approach grading using curves and color sliders...Max has taught me that sometimes removing a color is just as important as adding or changing a color. And that multiple shots are often necessary to have one finished photo. And it's easy, too...his casual, conversational style makes learning a pleasure instead of a chore.  

 I watched "Green Paradise" and "The White Mountain" and I was impressed and conquered! My post-production has improved thanks to his advice and his ultimate color techniques, focus stacking and color painting. Every video is absolutely stunning and easy to understand. Thanks Max for your wonderful work.  

Max’s post processing videos helped improve my landscape photography a lot! What would have taken me potentially years to learn, I was able to grasp and put into my workflow quickly. New ideas, thoughts and techniques to help me scout, capture and then post process images have been so incredibly valuable to my progression. I was able to learn many things from the video courses of Max Rive, an authentic teacher as well as a great landscape photographer.  His ability to describe his post production techniques in his shots is remarkable, he takes you to the wonderful scenarios he photographs, you feel like you are there.  And it teaches you to master not only composition, but also light and colors. These courses are recommended for everyone, from the beginner to the advanced photographer who wants to have a professional approach to post production. Thanks a lot Max!

Doesn’t matter whether you had the chance to meet Max Rive in person or not. Few minutes of one of his video tutorials and it will feel like you have known him for a long time. Max is friendly, deeply engaging and all his techniques are meticulously explained, step by step. Many of those are now part of my editing workflow. Few words to describe his tutorials? More addictive than Netflix.

It is fascinating to see Max’s entire workflow from the raw photo(s) until the final image. A bunch of Max’s postprocessing secrets inspired my workflow: color management, special contrast method, local selections and warping, they are all fantastic tools that elevated my photography. On top of that I really liked his relaxed narrative style. Great job, as always!  

Max’s passion for photography and for teaching Photoshop in particular is very infectious; you can feel the excitement in his voice as he shares his unique method of editing. His portfolio is filled with astounding images and he doesn’t hold back on how he uses photoshop as a tool in creating them. I have purchased many of his tutorials, including his Masterclass series, and gone on one of his tours to Patagonia led by the amazing Marco Grassi. I can honestly say that Max has boosted my passion and my skill in my pursuit of landscape photography excellence

The Max Rive Tutorials are the best in the business. What I love about the Max Rive tutorials is that they aren't about a preset or how to copy-cat his style, instead they are about smart step by step workflow processes on how to get the best out of a photo so that these same skills can then be applied to your photos to bring out their best in your own style. If you are contemplating purchasing a tutorial series, this is the one I would recommend and they are worth it.  

I've learned so much from Max's processing videos and have taken my editing to the next level. Although I am still on a journey of figuring out my own style, Max has helped me to understand how to best manage color, which was most important for me to learn. Also, it's amazing how you can obtain a 3D effect with some of his amazing techniques. My panorama game has gone a few levels up too. I loved scouting tips and IG tips make such a big difference too! Best spent money yet! Thank you Max for sharing your knowledge. 

I have really enjoyed the course, although I have a reasonable knowledge about processing it still taught me a lot of new things, strengthened areas of weakness and consider new areas of work!!!

The post-processing he applies follows a very artistic approach and some steps are inspired by landscape painting.
I have been doing photography and post-processing in Photoshop for many years, but Max's videos have given me new insights and techniques, which I now use in slightly modified form for each of my photos. Unlike many other videos, the focus is not so much on technique, but follows a very easy to understand artistic approach without having to master Photoshop in every detail.
