We leave early from our hotel in the Dolomites to be ready for our sunrise shoot. The destination takes 30 minutes by car followed by 5 minutes of walking. Because this is a sunrise, there is no time time for exploring. I will lead you to the best spot and explain the different compositions. There are an additional two great spots nearby which I will also show. You can choose your favorite one which we will shoot during the first sunrise light. I will also make a suggestion which spot we should shoot last - because on this spot the sunrise light will NOT hit the foreground - making it a great one for when the sun is already higher. I know the area extremely well so we can keep shooting for a total of 2.5 to 3 hours. This will result in MANY different compositions to choose from.

As part of my daily offering, I will fully edit one photo per day from start to finish, showcasing my techniques and creative process. Additionally, I provide editing and critique sessions tailored to your portfolio.

* Analysis of Strong Photos: We’ll break down the photos that work well, analyzing color contrast, separation, and how elements like space around the subject contribute to their effectiveness.

* Constructive Critique: We’ll then focus on photos that could benefit from constructive feedback. By comparing these with the stronger images, we can identify areas for improvement and ways to elevate them.

* Editing Demonstrations: I’ll demonstrate editing techniques on selected images, showing how I might approach them differently. This practical example will help you see new possibilities for your work.

* Ongoing Support: I’ll be available for any questions or specific requests you have, whether it’s about editing, composition, or anything related to improving your photography.

It's time for our sunset shoot! We'll leave in the afternoon to ensure we arrive at the location with plenty of time. This will allow us to explore different compositions and be ready as the light begins to soften. The best light isn’t always right at sunset - sometimes, it can be perfect a few hours earlier, or the sunset might be completely covered by clouds.

A common mistake many landscape photographers make is aiming for just one or two photos. Instead, we should keep shooting and moving throughout the time we have.

We’ll arrive at a stunning location next to a beautiful lake, with mountains in the background. Since we’ll have a few hours before sunset, there will be plenty of time to dive into each composition in detail. Why does this leading line work so well? Why is this composition so balanced? Why should you leave a little more space on one side of the mountain? Why do you need to raise your camera slightly for each shot during focus stacking?

Of course, you’re also free to explore on your own if you’d prefer. I’m happy to give you space, whether you want my guidance or prefer to work independently.

After sunset, we’ll hike back to the car, but I’ll take you to another spot before leaving! This location is perfect for capturing the blue hour. Afterward, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant to enjoy dinner.
